Our summer program will run for 10 weeks and offer students opportunities to pursue research related to Imaging- and Mechanics-based projects on Accidental Cases of Trauma (IMPACT) and other biomedical engineering and informatics-based topics listed below.

Exciting research opportunities include the following biomedical engineering and informatics topics:

-Injury prediction model development

-Finite element modeling techniques applied to trauma

-Military, sports, and spaceflight safety

-Osteoporosis prevention

-Biomechanical characterization of injury mechanisms

-Diagnostics and therapies for cancer patients
