Description: Students will work together on a team-authored publication as well as conduct research on their individual project and write a paper. The six projects planned for summer are: Stochastic Analysis of Approaches for Rainwater Collection and Reuse, Approaches for Water Filtration and Purification of Reclaimed Rainwaters, Nursery Irrigation Systems Using Reclaimed Rainwater, Microgrids for Disaster Resilience, Weather and Natural Resource Monitoring Equipment for Buildings, and Supply Chain Analysis for Communities Vulnerable to Disaster. Most of the summer experience will take place in Puerto Rico.
