Description:
Center for Digital Agriculture Research Experience for Undergraduates (CDA REU) is a 10-week paid summer research experience for undergraduates (REU), specifically encouraging applications from students who are from underrepresented groups and community college students. The program involves a research immersion experience at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and integrated professional development and social activities. Students will increase their knowledge & skills in applying digital agriculture technologies to complex biological applications. CDA REU is a multidisciplinary program recruiting students from various majors, including Ag and Bio Engineering, Animal Science, Crop Science, Computer Science, Biology, Engineering, Technology Management, and many more! This is a 10-week paid opportunity ($7000 stipend), and we also arrange housing/travel for students.

Eligible students must be:

-Citizens of the United States or permanent residents.

-Enrolled in a degree program (part-time or full-time) in engineering, computer science, crop/plant science, biology, animal science, agricultural sciences, technology management, or other related majors.

-There is no minimum GPA requirement for the program.

-Available full-time during the program.

-At least 18 years of age by the start date of the program.
