Description:
Human Neuroscience at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) and Georgia State University is a summer research program supported by the National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program.

The program gives you the opportunity to gain knowledge and hands experience with human neuroscience techniques such as electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). You will also perform exciting research in the laboratories of Georgia Tech or Georgia State faculty mentors. You will also learn about neuroscience careers and tips for succeeding in graduate and medical school. We encourage applications from undergraduate students who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States who attend universities without access to human neuroscience equipment like EEG and fMRI.

The research areas of the faculty mentors are organized around three core neuroscience themes:

-Human Motor Control

-Cognitive Processing

-Human Neurophysiology
