Description:
The Climate Change Institute at the University of Maine has an opening for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate in Arctic Limnology. Specifically, the research will focus on investigating the ecological implications of a rapid, coherent browning event in Greenland lakes, and placing them in the context of long-term datasets for the area and the broader context of widespread change in the Arctic. Areas of focus may include plankton ecology and/or biogeochemistry. The postdoctoral research associate will have the flexibility to develop research questions in collaboration with a team of researchers focused on this issue.
