Description:
Through more than 30 partnerships, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) offers a variety of scholarships each academic year, with deadlines for most in early March. Available scholarships are both need- and merit-based across a wide spectrum of programs and majors. Common requirements include attending an HBCU, demonstrating financial need and carrying a specific cumulative grade point average.

Scholarship amounts range up to $20,000.

While the number of undergraduate students dropped since the pandemic, applications at HBCUs increased nearly 30% as students reported turning down Ivy League institutions and other PWIs for a more inclusive experience.
