Description:
The Everglades EcoExplorers internship is a program offered to high school learners interested in environmental education and the Everglades. The program combines MODS' expertise in curriculum development and workforce readiness training. By taking part in the internship, learners will earn detailed, first-hand knowledge of the Everglades ecosystem while developing their workforce readiness skills.

The paid internship consists of 40-hour summer training and field excursion experience and a 135-hour workforce development program. During the school year, learners will work at MODS by delivering detailed Everglades knowledge to Museum guests through exhibit tours, special events, and the STEMobile.
