Description:
The National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Experience for Undergraduates in Data-Driven Discovery (REU-D3) at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, is now accepting applications!

The 10-week REU program will take place at Northeastern University. 10 engineering, computer science and science students will be selected to participate in various projects related to Big Data research. Participants will be offered on-campus housing, will receive a $5,000 stipend over the course of 10-weeks, and will be eligible for travel support to and from Boston. REU activities will include a Short Course on Big Data Analytics, Professional Development Seminars and Social Events, Field Trips and will give a Final Research Presentation at the conclusion of the program.

This program is aimed at rising sophomores (students entering their sophomore year the fall). Female students, those from a minority background, and community college students are encouraged to apply!
