Description:
The Aspirnaut Summer Research Internship Program at the University of Michigan strives to expand interest in basic science research by bringing high school students from under-resourced areas to U-Michigan to become immersed in a hands-on science laboratory experience. We are recruiting students from communities across Michigan — including rural and socioeconomically disadvantaged communities.

High school student interns will spend six weeks working with a team of UM researchers and mentors in the life sciences while engaging with college preparedness programming. Participants will learn about scientific research and STEM careers. The stipend for participants will be $1,700.
