Undergraduates - Senior

Description:
UConn Chem hosts motivated undergraduates primarily from non-Ph.D. granting institutions to participate in graduate-level research projects of their choice. Research is conducted for 10 weeks in the summer in our state-of-the-art chemistry facility with highly interactive faculty. While the core aim of this program is to introduce the students to the full breadth of research-related activities, professional development seminars and social events are integrated to the schedule. Also, two daylong hands-on workshops on single crystal X-ray crystallography and computational chemistry round out the experience.
