Description:
The Research Experience for Undergraduates program (REU), funded by the National Science Foundation, provides hands-on learning and experiences to undergraduates. This program at Old Dominion University specializes in Transportation Behavioral Sciences. The program offers training and mentoring opportunities to prepare students for graduate school and careers in transportation research and industry.

Support for research activities: $5,000 funding over 10 weeks, on-campus housing, travel support to/from the program (Norfolk, VA), Weekly workshops/field trips, and opportunities to conduct original research and present findings to Old Dominion University faculty.
