Description:
This Honors research training program provides the foundations that our students need to enter and succeed in premiere doctoral training programs. Our trainees become a member of a UTSA research laboratory and work under a faculty mentor. They also receive a host of professional development training workshops and activities designed to help them gain the skills to be leaders in high-level careers in the biosciences (including Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics, Biochemistry and similar). MARC Trainees receive a generous monthly stipend, partial tuition, and funding to attend an annual conference.
