Description:
The National Science Foundation and Philadelphia Region Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (NSF/AMP) Undergraduate Research Program allows university science, engineering, and mathematics students work on leading edge research in various disciplines for faculty members in the School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Medical School, The College of Arts and Sciences, and Wharton.

The goal of the program is to expose students to a laboratory research experience as a means of motivating them to complete their Bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) field of study, and to continue to pursue graduate programs leading towards master's, M.B.A., Ph.D, or M.D./Ph.D degrees for careers in academia or industry, both in the United States and globally.
