Description:
The Alabama NSF EPSCoR program sponsors a 10-week Corporate Internship Program on Plasma Technology Applications (CIPPTA) for students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The program provides students at Alabama partner institutions with quality experiences on plasma technology applications at Alabama companies and allows students the opportunity to establish connections with industry and university professionals. It is open to undergraduate and graduate students in a broad spectrum of disciplines.

Undergraduate students receive a $6,000 and graduate students receive a $7,000 stipend.

10-week research experiences are offered near Birmingham, Auburn, and Huntsville.

Areas of research: Engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and more.
