Note: this opportunity encourages applications from community college students.Description: The research theme is place-based research and training which utilizes the unique ecology and cultural diversity of the Colorado Plateau and four corners region. NAU mentors have place based-student centered research projects that are cutting edge, benefit indigenous cultures and are relevant to the local ecology and community. Our research theme allows us to perform frontier science on climate change, ecology, infectious disease, biodiversity, and genetics and the environment.
