Description:
The Graduate Diversity Visitation Program was established by the Graduate School in 1988 (previous name HBI) with the intent of increasing the enrollment of students from Historically Black Institutions and Universities. The current program has grown more inclusive and now looks to increase the enrollment of all underrepresented minority students. Students visit Purdue for 3 days to explore and experience graduate education at the West Lafayette campus (all expenses paid). There is time to network with current graduate students, staff and faculty. We provide opportunities to question existing URM graduate students and faculty about life and work at Purdue, We also provide opportunities to explore cultural centers and social life at Purdue.

Applications typically open around the start of the fall semester and remain open for around six weeks.
