Description:
Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) is a federally funded TRIO program. The goal of the Upward Bound Program is to academically prepare low-income, first-generation college students to enroll and graduate from the four-year college/university of their choice. UBMS is for students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)-related careers.

Topics investigated by the students vary year-to-year, but may include Marine Biology, Health Sciences, Chemical Processes, Computer Technology, and Geology. Students also have the opportunity to participate in math and science field trips.
