Description: SIBS is a 6-week residential summer training program in biostatistics, sponsored by NHLBI and NRCC, for quantitatively-oriented undergraduates and beginning graduate students who are interested in the biological and health sciences. SIBS-BRIDGE at WUSM has a concentration on statistical genetics/genetic epidemiology, and bioinformatics. Our goal is to demonstrate that biostatistics is useful and important for modern biomedical research, and that doing biostatistical research can also be exciting and fun!
Applications are accepted starting October 19, 2011 and continue until March 15, 2012.
