Masters students receiving a graduate research assistantships generally receive stipends based on an annual rate of $27818.70 or $30183.30, plus benefits. Graduate assistants can be paid for a maximum of 20 hours per week while school is in session.
Ph.D. graduate research assistants generally receive stipends based on an annual rate of $31,307.20 or $36109.20, plus benefits. Graduate assistants can be paid for a maximum of 20 hours per week while school is in session.
Teaching assistantships include a tuition payment by the university for no more than 10 credits to cover three courses during each semester if the workload is 15 to 20 hours per week.
