I have always being interested in marine sciences. Today, I am studying toward a PhD in Biological Oceanography at Old Dominion University. My immediate plans are to complete my PhD and then become an environmental sciences college professor and continue with an active research program in ecology and remote sensing. At the moment I am increasing my intellectual and professional abilities working on the ecophysiology laboratory with Dr. Richard C. Zimmerman. As natural sciences student I have high goals that require a lot of effort and my main professional goal is to finish my degree. I would like to focus on marine seagrass ecophysiology using remote sensing technology. I consider myself responsible, perseverant, dedicated, and committed to research.
