Steven Wang

The New York Consortium in Evolutionary Primatology
City University of New York (CUNY), Graduate Center


Steven is a graduate student in Anthropology at CUNY. He is a member of the NYCEP Morphometrics Group. He received his B.A. in 2001 from UCLA and his M.Phil. in 2007 from CUNY. His dissertation is titled: “Testing the Continuity of Middle and Late Pleistocene Hominins in Asia.” His research interests include: Paleoanthropology; cranial variation in genus Homo; comparative cranial morphology; Middle Pleistocene hominins; modern human origins and dispersals; paleopathology; geometric morphometrics; East Asia.
