Becky Stark

Non-equilibrium Dynamics Across Space and Time IGERT
University of Minnesota
Minneapolis, MN

I graduated from the University of Chicago in 2002 with a bachelors degree in physics. After graduation, I worked for a year in the molecular biology lab where I had done my undergraduate research on physical manipulation of short DNA molecules. I left this position to intern for the National Parks Night Sky Monitoring Program out of Bryce Canyon National Park, and to work with a habitat restoration crew on San Clemente Island, CA. My research interests include microbial ecology and biogeochemical cycling in aquatic systems and at aquatic- terrestrial interfaces.
