Jasmin Sethi

Jasmin Sethi is a second year PhD student in the economics department. She graduated from Harvard College in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and economics. During the following year Jasmin studied on a Fulbright scholarship at the London School of Economics. In her graduate work Jasmin is very interested in the impact of economic and social policy. She is particularly interested in social mobility and understanding the types of government interventions that create opportunities for upward mobility. Her non-academic involvement in the university includes being a member of the Political Economy Lecture Series Committee and a non-resident tutor in one of the undergraduate houses.
