David Savitt is a faculty member and Math Alliance Mentor in the Mathematics Department at the University of Arizona, as well as the deputy director of Canada/USA Mathcamp, a five-week summer program for mathematically talented high school students. His research interests are in Galois representations, automorphic forms, and p-adic Hodge theory. He joined the University of Arizona in 2005.
