Braxton Osting is a doctoral student in Applied Mathematics. He is interested in Partial Differential Equations, Dynamical Systems, and Numerical Methods. His academic goal at Columbia is to establish a solid understanding of methods used in Applied Mathematics and to learn to conduct great research. He is currently in the process of finding a research project related to atmospheric science.

Braxton enjoys rock climbing, skiing, hiking, soccer, and food.
