I received my undergraduate degree in computer science and economics from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. During my undergraduate years, I worked in collaboration with the USGS EROS Geological Research Station working on computational remote sensing based NDVI problems.

I currently am a doctoral student in the computer science graduate program. My research interests are in remote sensing, spatial data, and data mining.
