Marc Moniz

The New York Consortium in Evolutionary Primatology
City University of New York (CUNY), Graduate Center


Marc is a graduate student in Anthropology at CUNY. He received his B.A. in 1990 from Brandeis University and his M.A. in 1994 from SUNY Stonybrook. His dissertation title is “Assessing Bovid Taxonomy and the Paleobiogeography of the Early Hominini.” His research interests include: Paleoanthropology; hominin evolution; paleobiogeography of the African Plio-Pleistocene; bovid evolution; phylogenetic methods.
