Kelly Lilienthal

Ecosystem Restoration through Interdisciplinary Exchange (ERIE) IGERT
State University of New York (SUNY), Buffalo

Kelly has a BS in Environmental Sciences from SUNY Fredonia and an MS in Geology from the University at Buffalo. As an ERIE IGERT trainee, Kelly studies in the Department of Geology under Dr. Richelle Allen-King. He is interested in the controls (both physical and chemical) on contaminant transport expressed at the sediment/water interface in groundwater and surface waters. His research explores the relative contributions of both fluid composition and the properties of the geologic material through which it flows to the transport of contaminants both above and below the ground surface.
