I am a faculty member at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. I am interested in mentoring students who would like to earn Ph.D.s in mathematics. I have supervised the Ph.D. thesis of one student, and I'm looking for more opportunities to supervise students.

I earned by bachelors degree from the University of California Berkeley, and I received my Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. I've worked at University of Bielefeld, Germany and at the University of Notre Dame before coming to Wayne State.

My research interests are in algebraic geometry and algebraic topology, especially where the two subjects meet.
