Hollie Hall

Adaptive Management: Water, Wetlands and Watersheds

Hollie graduated from Humboldt State University with a B.S. in Rangeland Resource Management and Wildland Soil Science in 2004 and in 2008 she received her M.S. in Soil and Water Science from the University of Florida. During her Master’s research experience, Hollie examined the role of leguminous cover crop cultivation in alleviating phosphorus limitations in a cacao agroforestry system in the Peruvian Amazon. Building on the theme of landscape nutrient management sustainable land use. Hollie will utilize her PhD program to examine correlations between quantified and perceived water quality as impacted by land use and restoration activities at the watershed scale and develop strategies for communication scientific information to watershed managers.
