Physical & Biomolecular Foundations for Designing Nanoprobes for Biology
Johns Hopkins University
Baltimore, MD

On Lake Ontario outside the frozen tundra that is Rochester, New York is Suburbs Webster where I grew up. Attending, The Webster High School I found that I had a deep interest in science. It is from this that I made the faithful decision to attend the University of Rochester to study science. I graduated with a bachelors of science in chemical engineering and played football all the while living in a black hole. After escaping the black hole, I moved to Maryland where I worked at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics lab in the National Security Technology Department. I now work in the Searson group attempting to exploit the unique properties of nanoparticles in the hopes of treating human malaise.
