Stephen Fisher

Sustainable Urban Infrastructure
University of Colorado, Denver

Mr. Fisher holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California at Irvine and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University. He has worked on an Infrastructure Master Plan baseline study in Kigali, Rwanda, was a member of the City of Denver Mayor’s Infrastructure Priorities Task Force, and chaired the committee that produced the 2003 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Colorado Infrastructure Report Card. Mr. Fisher’s goal is to develop a tool - a system of metrics for identifying and quantifying the synergies between sectors of infrastructure that is user-friendly for decision-makers and elected officials. Some urban areas have already experienced success in this area – what are universal lessons to be applied elsewhere?
