Current research: My oceanographic research interest involves the development of optical models which utilize remote sensing information from satellites and aircraft to accurately predict chlorophyll a concentrations and phytoplankton primary production in estuarine and coastal waters. My geologic interests and training are in marine geology and sedimentologic processes. My marine policy interests are in the ocean disposal of dredged sediments and dredge material management.
