Naomi Calvo

Inequality & Social Policy IGERT

Before starting graduate studies at the Kennedy School, Naomi worked for several years as a consulting associate at MAP Inc, a small consulting firm specializing in state-level education finance and policy. Originally from Ithaca NY, she went to Bryn Mawr College as an undergraduate (BA in psychology, 1994) and later earned an MPA at Cornell (social policy, 1998). Naomi is interested in studying the adequacy and equity of education funding, and exploring the interaction between education policy and other social policies such as welfare, childcare, and healthcare.
