Arleen Anderson

Director of Internships
University of New Haven

An enthusiastic advocate for students for nearly two decades, Arleen Anderson is the Director of Internships and Employer Relations at the University of New Haven in West Haven, CT.

Immediately prior to being selected to head up the Internship Program in the Center for Experiential Education at the University of New Haven in 2007, Ms. Anderson was at the University of Massachusetts for a brief stint. Previously she had served at the Prescott, AZ campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the prestigious Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology for seven years.

Ms. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Art in Journalism from Indiana University which she attended as a non-traditional student with 2 children in tow. A product of the public school system in Gary, IN, Ms. Anderson has presented nationally on career matters and effective job-search techniques and is an active member of the CT Cooperative Education & Internship Association, the National Association of Colleges & Employers and the National Career Development Association. She is also currently serving as a regional representative for IBP.
